The rigid traction network consists of a profile extruded from a dedicated aluminum alloy that retains excellent geometric, mechanical, and electrical properties. The profile is characterized by high strength and hardness while maintaining a lightweight construction. The conventional contact wire is embedded in the profile by a qualified Corail team using a special assembly trolley.

A rigid network is a modern solution that provides greater reliability and safety than a conventional flexible network. The Corail rigid catenary system is highly durable, less susceptible to damage, and has lower operating costs compared to a classic overhead catenary system. Thanks to these advantages, it is ideal for use in confined spaces such as maintenance halls and tunnels. The installation of the network on movable arms allows it to be moved away from the track.

We have completed many projects in Poland and abroad – one of the largest rigid traction network installations in Europe is located at the Annopol Depot belonging to Tramwaje Warszawskie. In total, we have installed nearly 1,200 meters of rigid traction network there.

Yes – in addition to the delivery and installation of equipment, we also provide design services. Our team of engineers analyzes all possibilities for utilizing the existing infrastructure. This allows us to reduce the costs associated with the project and optimize its duration, which minimizes operational downtime in a given area of the infrastructure.

Road-rail vehicles combine road mobility with the ability to operate on tracks. Thanks to hydraulically lowered and raised rail axles, they can quickly move between work sites, reducing travel time and increasing the efficiency of maneuvering tasks.

The current state of knowledge and technical development allows for the implementation of automatic devices for applying a special anti-icing fluid that protects rolling stock from the effects of frost. Proactive action consisting of applying a protective layer before ice forms on key vehicle components reduces the time and cost associated with mechanical removal.
